Showing the Light - Trent's Team

Hey Everyone! Here’s an update from this past week.

Can’t ever have too many pictures of Montana, so here’s another one.

This is dried fish, raw veggies, cracker bread and Beluga whale.

This is an Alaskan couple who are here visiting their kids. I got to sit and talk with this wise grandma for about an hour. Something I’m learning is the respect our elders do deserve and how much we can learn from them.

Here’s Christian playing with one of the kids at the gym (one of our outreaches).  Normally kids this age aren’t here but they were having a kids basketball tournament that day. Mostly it’s college age people playing basketball, volleyball, or working out. Our purpose here is to just make friendships and show the Light here in a normal every day place.

A story about from at the gym. Me, trying to shoot baskets. Kid laughingly “you suck” me “hahah haha ” kid goes away and I continue to shoot. Kid comes back with brother and continues to laugh at me. Brother says “bet I could do my spin move on you”. Me “ya right” they continue to mock my skills for awhile so I won’t write the rest but it just goes to show… Kids can be jerks. But it so happens they also tell the truth. Rather bluntly.

Thanks for reading!

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue on here. Pray for :

  • the police force and their safety
  • the leaders of this valley and wisdom
  • this next generation of young Christians and strength and courage
